Finally received my first pay and we treat ourselves to mookata which my thai friend recommend at Golden Mile.
We started walking from marina square for about half an hour and on the way we saw the national day rehearsal with all the scdf vehicle park along the road.
It was around 7pm when we reached and lucky for us there wasn't any crowd yet.
There was only 1 soup base and we ordered a set (fixed price at $25/pax) which consist of seafood and meat. You are allowed to change the ingredients to meat if you are not a seafood person.
We didn't get to try but everyone else coming after us was drinking thai milk tea. So i guess you should try it too (:

The style of mookata was slightly different from the one we had from Orto. The depth of soup was deeper and they had tom yum as a choice which was awesome.
Both serve similar portion of meat but it was $10 more expensive at Orto.
I will recommend you to try New Udon for a more authentic Mookata since it is located in a thai area. However if you have tried it before i recommend the one at ortho for next visit, there are many (:
