Hello ! Today we had a more than usual special treat (:

This meal was much most costly, luckily for the 1 for 1 if not we would not have tried. We paid for $140 for two for their bbq buffet <3 It's really worth with the quality of the meat they offer and super nice salmon they prepared for the bbq. 

There is assorted of meats to chose from but with our tiny appetite, we didn't even manage to try all of what they were offering. 

Master chef ready to start BBQ!-ing :P 

Super nice meat! 

They have super duper nice seafood but we are not really into it, however with my love for salmon I manage to ate 2 portions myself (:

Lastly, super duper milky and strong flavored ice cream in black sesame and matcha..

In all, definitely, would recommend to visit here during special occasions or maybe when you are feeling more willing to spend than usual :P

Today Good Food!

Recommended by a friend, Korean BBQ Buffet at China Square Central | Wang Dae Bak 

Nearest MRT station | Telok Ayer, strolling distance of 20 min 

Decorations was still up on that day and it was really pretty <3 

Entrance of the restaurant, there are many seats further inside which was hidden and some at the outdoor if you don't mind the heat. Though the queue was short, we waited for quite a bit, hence please remember to make a RESERVATION. !!!

Our order, 2 meat (you must order min 2 serving) and 1 giant piece of pancake!

These are all the side dishes you get for free while dining there! Unlimited refill! hence eat all you want but we ask for any as it was too filling for us. 

One of the side dish and Han Love it. 

Our 2 serving of meat! Try to cook the one without marinated sauce as the hot plate will turn charred and all your meat subsequently will have black pieces sticking on it :(

 The two yellow strip surrounding the meat are eggs <3 Love it. Free refill too! 

The whole meal cost for about $65dollars, Extremely worth it!

Recently other than Han, I found another partner to hunt for nice food wherever we go !

I shall start from our last meet up for Mitsuba Buffet which I love on 24 Dec 

for $44/pax we had all of this

the sauce was awesome but the scallop wasn't fresh hence it tasted slightly off 

we counted this as 2 item :P

It was still early and we decided to have some dessert before we head back home. 
So we travel 9 min away from clarke quay by train to and walk 10min from farrer park for this 



I didn't feel in love with it and the chocolate didn't flow down as how it was expected due to my harsh cutting skills, many opppps but we had a good coffee and a enjoyable chat <3

Hello ! Here we are at our 8th Post for Good Food <3

Today we decided to try out the Korean BBQ Buffet at Nex | Daessiksin 

My first impression was really bad as we were not greeted at the entrance and we have to walk ourselves to a staff inside the restaurant to get sitted. Though with the mean services, the food they offered was fresh and good and the buffet was reasonably price. Overall this restaurant is fine is you happen to be in Nex (:  

The buffet bar located at the middle of the  restaurant.

The meat is tastier when you grill it with garlic and onion. 

Throw in some mushroom while waiting for the meat to cooked, super awesome

I find others that are marinated doesn't taste as good. 

End Product before it enters my tummy 

The front portion of the restaurant is a dessert shop and we have tried their melon bingsu for our first visit and it was really good though it was quite expensive*. 

(Appx $15~ according to what i have remembered) 

Today we tried their churros chocolate ice cream, the churros was made and fry on the spot when we ordered. So yes it was very crispy but extremely oily too. There was 2 churros in 1 serving. 

Will recommend to visit restaurant for their bbq and dessert (:
