Finally we woke up early and make it on time to visit this sashimi factory outlet (:

Daddy has told me about this place lots of time and since Han and me both love sashimi we were excited to finally visit here.

We alighted at admiralty and walk quite a distance ( around 20min), recommend you to drive or take a cab back since you have to bring back the fish within a short period of time.

In the fridge, there are more seafood to choose from, we bought a lobster (:
For a family of 4 you should buy at least 2 for everyone to have a taste.

There is set meal for pre order if you are interested

This is the smaller packet from the fridge is sufficient to make 2 plate of this

Would recommend not to buy any wasabi, is so bad that i feel the one from ntuc is so much better.

Town | Gion Japanese Restaurant

Hello :D

Today I will be sharing with you about this deal that we chance upon in Groupon.

The 12 course meal cost us $49 which is worth $237.28.

Money wise it will be considered as a good bargain since you get to pay only 1/4 of the sum.

However when i went online to see the review, most comments were bad but i have already bought it soo here we go.

This restaurant is located in park royal hotel (opp grand hyatt) at 2nd storey.

The restaurant is nicely decorated i would say, decent Japanese restaurant but the manpower they have is really little.

We had to stand at the entrance for 10 min till someone come and serve us though the restaurant wasn't crowded.

The food wasn't as fresh and worth if you were to pay $200 plus for this but coupon wise this is still acceptable, i guess.

Salmon was fine, but the squid and tuna feel mushy and weird not fresh at all ):

This was the best among the 12 dishes

Potato salad

Didn't try but this is considered as one, do take note.

The roe taste like plastic thus i only had one bite : /

Ginko nuts with salt, one of the 12 dish

Second best, fried chicken culet

Taste fine, some roe and cheese

Saba was good (:

Not recommended, wasn't fresh scallop

Tofu soup with meat ball i guess, taste fine but rmb to ask for rice i think. They didnt serve us that but is shown in the image.

The 11th dish was a white pudding that taste like plastic. Is like 1 mouth of it will make you stop eating it.

But in all i think that for the ambience and the service $49 is worth but not $200plus (:

Sentosa | Costa Sands Resort

Maybe someone knows that i am stress out due to exam and working, hahas. They throw me with this last minute retreat for free that i am going to share with you guys (:

This hotel is probably super old.

Our room was located in the middle of this resort third floor, Didn't manage to find any lift so you have to keep that in mind. Have to check with the staff. The room was small, imagine typical hong kong's hotel and the scenery outside our room was some back of the building of the next block.

They provide the basic you would ask for | Fresh clean Beds,Wireless, Heater, Aircon & TV |

However don't expect too much for the price you are paying.

We watch Cartoon Network for the afternoon (:

Mini Pantry with fridge of course

Heart Shape Swimming Pool huh ?!

We went out to explore after that and i realize that the backdoor actually leads to wave house. Super convenient, I guess this a good place for those who might want to party till early morning and just rest till the next day.

Haw Par Villa | 虎豹別墅

This attraction is own by the Aw brothers ,Boon Haw and Boon Par who made a fortune selling tiger balm in the early ages of Singapore . They had filled their whole garden with statues and dioramas that tell Chinese legend and folklore.

The most exciting part of this attraction to me was the hell exhibition. In the past there use to be a river that they will ferry you through the 18 level of hell. According to the Chinese tradition when you have done bad things before you die you will be place in the different levels of hell accordingly.

Now , i guess with the high maintenance cost they have pave the whole way using concrete , hence now you can walk yourself without waiting for the boat hence the effect was also reduce as it was not that scary anymore compare to the past.

(I did not take any photos from the hell exhibition i still find it intimidating to go in that place honestly. :/ )

Allow me to introduce my home town to you (;
I ponder for a long time if I should do a post for singapore , well I live here hence the surrounding doesn't amuse me as much as overseas .

However in order to improve my English, I need to keep on writing and with my niece that came along ,We ( my family and I ) explore a lot of places with a new perspective.

Sembawang park | 三巴旺公园

On this long weekend that just past,
( thur : hari raya , fri : national day , sat & sun )
We decided to go sembawang park @ Sunday.

Back thn when I was still a small kid , my parents always bring me here to play with toys , climb trees , badminton , swim ( there's a beach there ) , playground & all sorts of things . So honestly you can say that this is my favorite park of all in singapore !

In the past they only had a toilet near the beach which is very inconvenience for us to as we need to walk all the way there for a toilet break . Now they build another 2 which is nearer to the carpark .

They have also upgraded the playground ! Lots of climbing elements which was great for me and my sis to play . Well of course they do have height constraint , hence we need to climb over the element thn going through it. Laugh ><
