Around the world #22
THAILAND , Bangkok
5 Day 5 Night | Ku De Ta & Pratunam Mall | Day 4
Pratunam market was our first destination, as stated from the internet the apparel and items they sell there is about the same as chatuchuk.
When we reach platinum, we check with the info counter to ask for direction which she said it was just opposite.
There's like a huge shopping centre cum market with lots of people but we didn't manage to find the title Pratunam market. So the whole day we were walking around the place and the clothes were the cheapest that i saw.not that i know if the place is Pratunam or not.
After walking and squeezing with people for about close to two, hours we went for our lunch at their computer centre,
Which apparently is also a tourist attraction, there's a lot of foreigner coming in and out.
We had lunch at a Korean steak place, the food was not bad at all and affordable.
After our lunch we went to platinum mall to walk around but it was filled with singaporeans and the price was average. So we left the place and head back to hotel. We went for a thai massage for an hour, the place was fine and you could choose between man or lady masseuse.
But the abrasion was painful rather thn enjoyment since no lotion/oil was used. Would recommend foot message for your tired feet.We left hotel for a Japanese restaurant which have lots of good review and rank no. 30 in the trip advisor website.
Not knowing what we are going to get, we wear our slippers and onwards.
The place was not far though unknowingly we walk a distant of one bts station. When we reached the place which was considered one of a higher end building with the design, atmosphere and the way people dress. Yet we were in our slippers hahas, the concierge guy pass our attire for the Japanese restaurant but he said we were not allowed to go for the modern asian since we were not well dress. But we were fine since we were here for the traditional jap.
Happy me (:
Scenery was breathtaking that day <3
Some Images of what we had (:
The food and scenery was awesome though halfway through the course they stop serving and our appetite was gone.
Continuing on to Asiatique...
Love,
Yinzhen
