Day 5 | Great Buddha of Baguashan ,八卦山大佛

After having our breakfast we called the same taxi uncle to take us around Taichung to Great Buddha of Ba gua shan ,八卦山大佛.

The Buddha's height is about 24m ,and it's above 74m above the sea level. It's Super cool to see such a big Buddha.

Maybe because we went in the morning , there weren't a lot of visitors. It's a great place to see the skyline of Taichung , there aren't a lot of high rise building as compared to Taipei and you can see it when you travel around the area .

You can enter the Buddha body which is about 6 level high. Inside the body there are Buddha statues to display the story of life. A few photos to give you the feel inside... It's all very old architecture style.

When we walk out of the Giant Buddha, there is a Great Buddha Temple right at the back. Which consist of a few different Deities..

Not forgetting to have fun and food (: The last time I played this was in TIMEZONE ,looong ago . My mum bought this weird looking egg which is as big as my hand. When I finish eating this egg I am already half full hahas .

There is this photo at the bottom of a local delicacies, it's cook with Chilli. You need to suck the tiny bottom part then the head where you can suck the whole meat inside (:

Well it's kinda interesting . Although I have eat something like that before but it's not serve cold like this one !
