Nov is Han's Birthday (:

For the 7th post, I asked Han to choose a place that he will like to have his birthday dinner.  He decided on Makan @Jen International Buffet ,which was located above orchard gateway. We had never went to a hotel  restaurant before in Singapore so we were pretty excited and hype up about it as it was also my last paper (:

We make a reservation which wasn't really necessary as there was only a handful of table occupied when we were there. When i first glance through the food displayed, there wasn't much selection as most of them were something that you can order at our local coffee shop.

I guess the selling point was the ambience of the restaurant, it was really nice and quiet while looking at the orchard night lights.

From a number of review i have read, they were all recommending the seafood buffet which happens on weekend. I guess i will vote for that too,now that i have tried the international buffet .

At the very least there is salmon sashimi <3 The salad bar was really awful ): 

Super focus with the desert >.<

and luckily there is a wide variety of dessert available and a nice group of service crew.

I wouldn't recommend their international buffet if someone were to ask me but i wouldn't mind going again to try the seafood buffet (:
