Around the world #37 | Walk in the Park

Around the world #37

Vietnam | Ho Chi Minh

7 Day 6 Night | Walk in the Park

After our flea we continue to walk around and visited their park. It was very green and clean compare to what we have.
If Singapore considered our self as green city, i am quite sure Ho chi Minh can have the same title too at least for the city area, since we did not have the chance to travel further.

Coincidently we met someone taking their wedding photoshoot (:

They had lush trees throughout the city and the walkway are mostly clean making the walk an enjoyable journey.

The public toilet there, is super clean and there is a caretaker to make sure everything is at the tip top condition. Also you have to change into their provided slippers to enter.

There were relics sculpture in the middle of the park with a huge waterfall and a playground for kids which is enclosed. Kinda safer i guess, as there is no way they could run out of that area while they are playing .

Not sure why in Singapore, we do not have the culture of going to park to enjoy our weekend. Though the park have all the right facilities required.

Unlike here and in china, the local make full use of the park to chat and meet up with and have some activities.

We left the park and not far away, we saw a Chinese temple (:

Our ultimate goal was to visit their museum but sadly we were 15min late and they had closed for the day.

Oh well but walking around let us explore and understand the local context even more (:

Love,

Yin Zhen
