ATW Road Trip #30 | Cameron Highland | Boh Tea Centre | You hoo Seafood Restaurant

Around the world #30

Singapore - Cameron Highland | Day 2.2

Boh Tea Centre & You hoo Seafood Restaurant

After our lunch we head to BOH Tea Center for a cup of afternoon tea,
on our way there was this rock along the road that allows you to oversee the tea plantation around it. We park and alight for a short sightseeing and photo taking session and make a friend too(:

Upon reaching you have to walk a distance to reach the peak which the cafe is located.

Once closer you can see that this cafe is protruding out partially which was kind of cool.

The treats they offer does not taste as good as it looks, so if you are here just for the treats, I will recommend for you not to come.  However if you enjoy photo taking and chill for a lazy afternoon this will be a good place though it is quite crowded as this is a tourist attraction.

Some of the cakes that we had which was not worth, as we realize that this was a factory manufactured cake which was then distributed throughout cameron highland.

Personally I prefer the Gold blend that they offer, good for a afternoon tea.

The architecture was along the sustainable line, many good photos can be taken from the different parts of the building features and areas.

We stop by a market along the way and head back to our apartment about an hour later to have some fruits and watch a tennis match.

We decided to find You Hoo Seafood Restaurant and have dinner there, following the google map we went to this estate which was definitely not where the restaurant is. We found the place realizing that it was just near our apartment beside shell station.

We had a steamboat for 3 and some seafood to share, the tom yum soup was good but the chicken stock had a special taste that we never had in Singapore. The total meal cost 165 which was definitely worth it for everything that we had eat.

The fried mushroom is a must order i love it <3

The owner was very kind, we wanted to change more currency at a nearby store but my friends took a very long time and haven't got back since then. He rode his motorbike and went to look for them.

When we were preparing to leave it started to drizzle so he went to prepare umbrella for us to use to get up the car. (:

Such nice guy he is.

That's about all for day 2 (:

Love,
Yin Zhen
