Around the world #19

THAILAND , Bangkok

5 Day 5 Night | Grand Palace | Day 1

Day 1 started with a charged breakfast from the hotel. Make sure to print or screenshots your booking details in case anything gone wrong.

BTS station is just 2 min walk from the hotel. We went to take the ferry at the terminal near the BTS. You can buy your tickets according to where you want to go. Our first stop was the palace. The place was huge and all of the temples were very detailed and with painting and carving.

We took about 2 hours to explore the place which also included a temple of emerald Buddha.

The weather was hot and crowded with tourist from china; You WILL see them everywhere you go.

Halfway through to cool down for a moment we enjoyed hagendaz ice cream (: happy girl

The Grand Palace ticket was sold in a bundle together with tickets to 2 other place but we couldn't find the place so we left there soon after. Next destination, Wat pho, we walked an entire round of the temple to find the entrance , but it was actually right beside the exit of ferry terminal. Lol

Once we went in, bought the tickets started to explore this temple is quite small as compare to others but there is a very huge sleeping buddha inside.
You can see more in the coming post (:
It started drizzling so we left the place.

We went back to hotel and left to Siam. We bought the ticket to Madam Tussa and Ocean World in a promotion. The ticket is valid till end of the month.

We went on to the Madam Tussa exhibition which was good for a one time experience. Things that we saw in will be posted soon (: After that, we left to walk around the streets opposite Siam, where we had our dinner at the Rabbit restaurant.

Opposite Siam there are many night market vendors but we didn't manage to walk since i was having a tummy ache, so we left to rest.

End of Day 1 (:

Love,
Yin Zhen <3
